You don’t have to be an expert. We’re entirely volunteer-run, from the President to the desk staff. We reflect the community we serve – each person bringing a diversity of experience and knowledge. The element that unites us is a shared desire to serve the community in building a more sustainable future.

- Flexible rostering: need to organise months in advance? Prefer to drop in more casually? We’ve got you covered.
Roles include:
- Librarian: Connect with the community, assist with loans, and offer general advice.
- Event Volunteer: Take part in bustling, lively events! Assist with the set-up, smooth running,and clean-up of one of our dynamic workshops.
- Maintenance Volunteer: Maintenance Mondays are an opportunity to help fix and sharpen the library’s tool collection while learning how they work.
- Repairer: If you’re handy with mending clothes or fixing electronics, this is the role for you! Click here for details about our upcoming repair cafes or email repaircafe@brunswicktoollibrary.org mail to be added to our list of repairers.
- We’re open to ideas. Is there a volunteer role you would be perfect for, if only it existed? We want to hear about it!
Want to host an event? Maybe you have rad cross-stitch skills you want to share. Perhaps you’re keen to teach others how to build an Arduino watering system. Let’s work together to make it happen!
